What you’ll do - Conduct production ground and flight tests to validate aircraft airworthiness.
- Lead demonstration flights for prospective customers, Customer Acceptance flights, and Ferry flights.
- Own pre- and post-flight planning, briefings, debriefs, and documentation.
- Serve as aircraft commander, fostering a positive, cooperative dynamic with crew and management.
- Support extended weekend schedules as required and assist the Bombardier Flight Test Center.
- Review manuals and other technical documentation to ensure operational accuracy.
- Perform secondary duties that support the broader flight operations team. What you bring - Valid Canadian ATPL and Class 1 Medical.
- Minimum 3,500 hours total time, including 500 hours PIC on large multi‑engine aircraft.
- Legal right to live and work in Canada.
- Comfort with irregular hours and short‑notice travel.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills; a collaborative team mindset.
- Calm, sound decision‑making in high‑workload or stressful situations.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
Note: You don’t need to meet every single requirement to apply—Bombardier welcomes diverse experiences. Great-to-have - Type endorsement on BD-700 and/or G7500.
- Previous flight‑test experience.
- Strong technical background in certification or training.
- U.S. ATP. Operations & schedule - May support extended weekend schedules based on program needs.
- Occasional short‑notice travel and irregular hours.
- Secondary duties in support of flight operations, as required.
