Job Details The City of St. Albert is recruiting 2 individuals to join our Recreation & Parks department as Casual Guest Service Representative 2’s. Reporting to the Guest Services Coordinator, this position is responsible for assisting facility guests and members both in person and over the phone.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 500 hours in the Guest Service Representatives 1 role or the equivalent of 1 year of full-time customer service experience.
- Previous experience providing customer service in a fast-paced environment, processing transactions and handling cash.
- Strong computer skills and comfort using Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience working in a recreation setting and familiarity with membership management software (Intellileisure) would be beneficial.
- Current Intermediate First Aid Certification is an asset.
- Equivalent combinations of experience and education may be considered.
Hours of Work We are looking for approximately 10 – 15 hour per week, with shifts generally between 4 – 7 hours in length. We are seeking daytime,
evening and weekend availability with additional opportunities for seasonal summer positions. Evening shifts can range in start time from 3:30pm - 5:45pm. and weekend hours vary between 6:30 a.m.– 9:30 p.m.
Compensation
- The wage ranges from $17.99 - $21.91 per hour based on qualifications and experience.
- Candidates not meeting the full qualifications may be considered for a development opportunity at a lower classification and salary.
