Duties
- Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to enhance their comfort and dignity
- Support patients with medication administration following prescribed protocols and safety procedures
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Perform light cleaning duties to maintain a safe, hygienic living environment for residents
- Provide compassionate patient care, including emotional support and companionship to promote well-being
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting tasks safely, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury
- Support residents with specialized needs such as dementia or disabilities by implementing personalized care plans and engaging in meaningful activities
Qualifications
- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospice, or home care settings is highly desirable
- Knowledge of patient care practices and caregiving techniques
- Experience working with individuals with disabilities or dementia is a strong plus
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility tasks
- Strong communication skills and a caring attitude towards residents’ needs
- Basic understanding of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments
