Our team is a big part of what makes Pardon Me Hearing different. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a friendly, outgoing and dependable Part-Time Receptionist / Hearing Assistant to join our Vernon clinic.

This is a great opportunity for someone who genuinely enjoys working with people, especially seniors, and is looking for long-term, part-time employment in a welcoming clinic environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

- Greet clients and create a warm, friendly and caring experience from the moment they walk through the door
- Answer phones, respond to client questions and schedule appointments
- Take initiative to keep the appointment schedule full and efficiently booked
- Assist with basic hearing aid cleaning, servicing and changing parts — training will be provided
- Complete general administrative duties, including computer entries, paperwork, accounts payable/receivable and third-party documentation
- Receive payments and manage the daily cash float
- Handle shipping, receiving and prepare hearing aid orders for fittings
- Keep the clinic clean, organized and welcoming,



including regular disinfecting procedures

- Patient and compassionate, particularly when working with seniors
- Organized and comfortable working on a computer
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative without always being asked
- Able to follow direction and work well as part of a team
- Dependable and interested in a long-term position

Previous experience in a medical, hearing, optical or healthcare office is an asset, but not required for the right person. We are happy to train someone with the right personality, work ethic and attitude.
