As a Food Runner, you’ll work closely with the kitchen and serving staff to deliver delicious dishes promptly and accurately.

Duties

- Greet guests warmly as they arrive, providing a welcoming and professional first impression
- Escort guests to their tables, ensuring comfort and understanding of the menu options
- Assist servers by delivering food and beverages from the kitchen to tables efficiently and accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables for new guests
- Support the kitchen staff with food preparation tasks when needed, adhering to food safety standards
- Handle guest inquiries courteously, providing excellent customer service and resolving issues promptly
- Ensure all food handling and safety protocols are followed diligently throughout service




- Assist with cleaning duties in dining and service areas to uphold hygiene standards
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless restaurant operations and guest satisfaction

Qualifications

- Previous food service experience preferred, especially in restaurant or hospitality settings
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
- Knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation, and food safety practices is advantageous
- Experience using POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members in a fast-paced environment
- Basic cleaning skills and attention to hygiene standards required
- Hospitality or hotel experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Ability to stand, walk, and move quickly for extended periods during shifts
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive approach to guest interactions
