Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Supervisor to lead our dedicated cleaning team in delivering exceptional cleanliness and comfort across our hospitality environment. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, ensure high standards of sanitation, and motivate your team to maintain a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a pristine setting that reflects our commitment to excellence and guest satisfaction.

Duties

- To inspect suites and all Housekeeping areas.
- To report defects in suites and all areas of hotel for repairs.
- To assign duties to Housekeeping line staff.
- To control Housekeeping keys, supplies and equipment.
- To pass on guest complaints and staff grievances to Housekeeping office.
- To acquire knowledge on usage of Housekeeping equipment and supplies as outlined in operational manuals and GHS (WHMIS) regulations.
- To prepare VIP suites.
- To ensure that Housekeeping personnel appearance is in line with hotel standards.
- Change status of suites after they are cleaned.
- Train and coach Housekeeping staff.




- To implement emergency procedures in case of an emergency.
- To record and mail lost and found when required.
- To perform auxiliary tasks when required including Assistant Housekeeper's duties.
- To execute all reasonable additional assignments determined by management personnel

Skills

- Proven experience in cleaning services within a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong leadership abilities with the capacity to motivate and guide a diverse team
- Excellent knowledge of cleaning techniques, including industrial cleaning methods and custodial best practices
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards and guest service expectations
- Ability to perform detailed inspections and maintain high-quality standards consistently
- Effective communication skills to coordinate with staff, management, and guests
- Organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
