Full-Time HVAC Helper – Junior Role

Copperhead Mechanical Ltd. is a well-established plumbing and HVAC company serving the GTA, specializing in hydronic heating installations and service. We are looking for a full-time HVAC Helper to join our growing team.

The Position The HVAC Helper - Junior Role will work alongside our Lead Technicians, assisting with hydronic heating and HVAC installations, service and maintenance. This position is well suited to someone who is reliable, hardworking, mechanically inclined and eager to learn and develop their skills in the HVAC trade.

This is also an excellent opportunity for someone looking to advance their career. You will gain valuable hands-on experience with hydronic heating and HVAC systems while accumulating the hours and practical experience needed to work toward obtaining your G3 & G2 licence.

Requirements

Excellent command of spoken and written English

- Strong communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Must be physically capable of performing hands-on HVAC work
- Must be willing and able to take direction and follow instructions from the Lead Technician
- Reliable, punctual and dependable
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Ability to work well as part of a team
- Valid driver's licence is required

Responsibilities

- Assist Lead Technicians with hydronic heating and HVAC installations, repairs, maintenance and service calls
- Assist with the installation and removal of HVAC and hydronic heating equipment
- Carry and organize tools, equipment and materials
- Load and unload equipment and materials
- Maintain a clean and safe work area




- Follow instructions provided by the Lead Technician
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Assist with troubleshooting and other tasks as directed
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner when working in customers' homes and businesses

We are looking for someone who understands that being a successful HVAC Helper means being a team player, listening carefully, following direction and taking pride in doing the job properly.

The successful candidate will be dependable, respectful and willing to learn. You should be comfortable working under the direction of an experienced Lead Technician and be prepared to assist wherever needed to ensure the job is completed safely and efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00–$25.00 per hour
