Main Duties:

- Moving of left over compost trays from spawn area to dumping area.
- Deep cleaning with pressure washer pump of spawn area and casing area on schedule date.
- Wash and sanitize all conveyers /cross conveyers of spawn and casing using pressure washer.
- Cutting of strings with knife by using safety procedure from spinners of spawn and casing and then sanitize.
- Dry clean all left over compost from the rollers, hopers, conveyers, press, stackers and de-stackers.
- Operate the forklift, skyjack and spray/fogging tractor.
- Wash and sanitize all hopers and rufflers of spawn and casing lines.
- Wash and sanitize all rollers of casing and spawn lines.
- Wash and sanitize spawn rooms and pinning rooms.
- Spray chemicals in spawn pining, growing rooms and all farm at the end of the shift.
- Wash the amity hallway after transferring trays.
- Wash and sanitize the casing and spawn lines.
- Sanitize Lunch room and lockers.
- Assist in general housekeeping of farm areas: wash floors, wash rooms, hallways, machines, etc.
- Filling chlorine in dipping tank.
- Clean and sanitize the drains of spawn, casing and amity area and rooms.
- Adhere to all health, safety and hygiene practices in accordance with Company Policies.




- Other general labour duties as assigned.

This identifies the main areas of responsibility, this is not an exhaustive list and Hygiene Crew will be required to carry out any other duties that fall into the scope of the job.

Qualifications:

- Must be able to work independentl.
- Physically fit: Lifting up to 40lbs, stretching, bending, reaching, twisting, standing for extended periods, etc.
- Comfortable working in farm environment (around moving machinery, noise, compost smells, dust, damp/wet setting).
- Safety conscious; must be able to follow all prescribed safety policies and wear all personal protective equipment required for the job.
- Own transportation required – no public transit in area
