Position: IBM Maximo Functional Consultant

Job Summary:

IBM Maximo Functional Consultant with a strong background in the Utilities industry to support the implementation, enhancement, and optimization of Maximo solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive hands-on experience gathering business requirements, conducting fit-gap analysis, configuring Maximo applications, and delivering end-to-end work management solutions on large-scale Maximo implementations or migration projects. This role requires a consultant who has worked directly on Maximo implementation teams and has successfully delivered greenfield or migration projects in a functional consulting capacity.

Responsibilities:

- Lead workshops and gather business requirements from Utilities stakeholders.
- Conduct fit-gap analysis and design optimal Maximo solutions.
- Configure and support Maximo modules aligned with business processes.
- Drive end-to-end asset and work management process improvements.
- Support data migration, testing, cutover, and go-live activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Provide functional leadership for Maximo implementation and migration initiatives.





Required Skills:

- 8+ years of experience as an IBM Maximo Functional Consultant with strong Utilities industry experience.
- Hands-on expertise in Maximo implementations, upgrades, migrations, and transformation programs.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis, business process mapping, solution design, and Maximo configuration.
- Solid understanding of Asset Management, Work Management, Preventive Maintenance, Inventory, Procurement, and Mobility solutions.
- Experience with data migration, cutover planning, testing, training, and deployment activities.
- Exposure to Maximo Mobile, multi-site, and enterprise-wide deployments.
- Ability to work with business stakeholders, SMEs, and technical teams across large-scale projects.
- Maximo certification is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills:

- Utility industry Maximo implementations.
- Large-scale Maximo migration or transformation projects.
- Multi-site or enterprise-wide Maximo deployments.
- Experience delivering greenfield Maximo programs from inception to go-live.

Nice to Have:

- IBM Maximo Certification, Maximo Mobile experience, and experience managing global stakeholder engagements.
