The Scoop Supervisor

The Scoop by Jeffrey’s is looking for an energetic, creative and experienced Supervisor to lead our ice cream shop team.

This isn't just a scooping position. We’re looking for someone who enjoys leading people, creating great customer experiences and taking ownership of the day-to-day operation of the shop. You’ll work with a team that includes many younger employees, so the ability to coach, encourage and set clear expectations is important.

What We're Looking For

- Previous supervisory or leadership experience is required
- A genuine passion for ice cream and creating memorable customer experiences
- A creative personality with an interest in new flavours, products, displays and ideas
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Confidence supervising, training and coaching employees
- Comfortable working with and mentoring teen and entry-level employees
- Someone who leads by example and isn't afraid to jump in when things get busy
- Initiative and plenty of “giddy up and go” — you see what needs to be done and make it happen
- Dependable, responsible and able to work independently
- Versatile availability, including days, evenings, weekends and Sundays

What You'll Do

As The Scoop Supervisor, you'll help keep the shop organized, welcoming and running smoothly. Responsibilities include:

- Leading and supporting the Scoop team
- Training and coaching new and existing employees




- Providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the team does the same
- Helping coordinate staffing and day-to-day operations
- Ensuring cleaning, opening and closing procedures are completed properly
- Monitoring inventory and ensuring supplies and products are available
- Maintaining Jeffrey’s standards for quality, cleanliness and presentation
- Learning to make our house-made ice cream
- Helping develop and test new and creative ice cream flavours
- Identifying problems and taking initiative to find solutions
- Creating a positive, energetic workplace where employees enjoy coming to work

Who Would Be Great in This Role?

You may already have supervisory experience in hospitality, food service, retail, recreation or another customer-focused environment and are looking for an opportunity where you can take on more responsibility.

You don't need to be an ice cream expert when you arrive — we can teach you that part. What we do need is someone who knows how to lead people, takes pride in their work and is excited about helping The Scoop continue to grow.

And, of course, it helps if you really love ice cream.
