Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced bookkeeper/accountant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, along with proficiency in accounting software (QBO experience is an asset). This role involves managing financial records, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes.

Responsibilities

- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements and reports.
- Manage all accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
- Perform account reconciliation and bank reconciliation.
- Process payroll accurately and on time, ensuring compliance with tax regulations. (Using ADP Payroll software).
- Utilize accounting software (such as QuickBooks) for efficient record-keeping and reporting.
- Maintain organized bookkeeping practices to support audit readiness.
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights that drive business performance.





Skills

- ADP Payroll Software experience considered an asset.
- Proficiency in accounting software, including QuickBooks, is essential.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, payroll processing, bookkeeping, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
- Experience with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, account analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within deadlines.
- Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour
