Step into a pivotal role as the Indigenous Wellbeing Leader with Shared Health in Winnipeg. Lead initiatives enhancing the holistic wellbeing of the healthcare workforce and shape mental health strategies in person. As part of Shared Health's Provincial Wellbeing department, this position is crucial for developing and implementing wellbeing initiatives and prevention strategies.
You will engage with various stakeholders, promote mental health supports, and lead critical incident stress response programs. This role requires strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of Indigenous health priorities to foster an inclusive and supportive workplace environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement wellbeing initiatives for healthcare workforce
- Provide psychological support and training for staff
- Lead the Critical Incident Stress Response Program
- Collaborate with stakeholders for improved health services
- Promote recovery and mental health awareness initiatives Requirements:
- 5+ years in healthcare delivery system
- Experience in trauma-informed care and mental health strategies
- Solid knowledge of Indigenous cultural priorities and values
- Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field
- Valid Manitoba driver’s license and personal vehicle required Drive meaningful change in Indigenous healthcare through leadership and compassionate support as the Indigenous Wellbeing Leader in Winnipeg.
