We currently have an opening for an ambitious Installation Coordinator role in our Winnipeg branch. This full time position offers tremendous growth opportunities, including diverse projects, supported career development, and potential for advancement.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics, and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installations
2. Tracking site visits, outcomes, site measurements, and job completion using company documents and procedures
3. Carrying out administrative work such as booking site visits, collecting information, preparing installation paperwork, etc.
4. Liaise with other departments and team members such as project coordinators, sales, and warehouse, to ensure that the project timeline is accurate, clarify project details and customer requirements, and provide updates where needed
5. Adhering to safety practices including completing safety-oriented documents such as FLHA, toolboxes, orientations, etc.), communicating hazards to leaders and suggestions to mitigate eliminate them,



actively participating in safety initiatives and report unsafe work practices
6. Identify and implement safety conscious procedures and work flows
7. Troubleshoot product or installation issues, as needed, and provide a high level of customer service to resolve complex issues, while ensuring customer satisfaction
8. Provide an exceptional level of customer service to internal and external stakeholders

Supervisory Responsibilities

- This job requires some leadership and supervisory responsibilities, where employees work collaboratively and are responsible for ensuring that work is completed accurately and cohesively within the team.
- Work is structured in such a way that the tasks to be completed are presented to the incumbent in the order in which they are to be done with some flexibility in the sequence of which the work is completed

Education and/or Experience

- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years of Construction and/ or Installation Experience
- 1-3 years Administrative Experience

Practical/Technical Skills

- Proven ability to use a measuring tape
- Proven ability to read shop drawings
- Ability to prioritize and manage workloads

Problem Solving

- Instructions usually provide little latitude to consider variations in sequence of procedures based on situations encountered.
- Attention to detail and ability to work with limited supervision and follow instruction
- More repetitive in nature, the work may present situations which require attention to detail and notification of errors to be corrected, which generally follow well defined processes

Computer Skills To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of:

- Computer software including Microsoft Office
- Safety Software including Site Docs
- ERP systems
