We are currently partnering with a well-established organization to hire an experienced Interim Corporate Controller for a long-term contract opportunity.

Hybrid: 3 days per week in office

Contract: Approximately 15–18 months

This is a hands-on doer/reviewer leadership role for a strong accounting professional who can manage the month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting and reporting processes while providing leadership to an established finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the month-end, quarter-end and year-end accounting and reporting processes
- Oversee operational accounting, financial reporting, statutory reporting, audit and tax-related activities
- Manage and develop a finance team, including experienced accounting professionals/managers
- Review journal entries, reconciliations, financial statements and supporting schedules
- Support budgeting, forecasting and cash flow activities
- Oversee accounting across multiple wholly owned legal entities
- Work within an ASPE reporting environment
- Partner with external auditors and tax advisors
- Drive process improvements and support finance-related projects




- Provide financial guidance and business partnering across the organization

What We’re Looking For:

- Strong hands-on accounting and financial reporting experience
- Solid ASPE knowledge
- Experience working within a multi-entity organization; multinational exposure is an asset
- Good general understanding of corporate tax and statutory reporting
- Proven ability to operate as both a hands-on contributor and people leader
- Strong month-end and year-end close experience
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder-management skills
- Strong systems and Excel skills; Microsoft Dynamics 365 experience is an asset

This prospect would be ideal for an experienced Corporate Controller, Controller, Senior Finance Manager, or Senior Accounting Manager who enjoys remaining hands-on while leading a team.
