role you will collaborate with engineering project teams to deliver high quality design solutions for a wide variety of private infrastructure land development projects including residential concepts sketches and calculationsUtilize Civil 3D to design and produce functional preliminary and detailed design drawings for a wide variety of residential commercial and transportation infrastructure projectsParticipate in projects involving 2D3D drafting of civil engineering drawingsUse CAD software and techniques to prepare drawings in accordance with project CAD standardsAssist with redlinesrevisions for in progress and completed designsSupport with the analysis of design issues and determining appropriate solutionsMaintain up to date knowledge of current Provincial and Municipal engineering standards as well as requirements of other reviewing agencies such as Conservation Authorities and Niagara Escarpment Commission NECCoordinate with clients municipalities agencies and sub consultants to facilitateexpedite design completionWhat you bring Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering from a Civil Engineering Technology program Registered with or in the process of registering with Ontario Association of Certified Engineering Technicians and Technologists OACETT considered an asset3 5 years design experience preferably in an engineering consulting environmentDemonstrated civil drafting and design experience in Civil 2D Civil 3D and AutoCAD as well as other business software MS Word Excel OutlookWell developed knowledge of Ontario Building Code Provincial and Municipal standards and their application to specific projectsSelf motivated individual possessing strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environmentAbility to
