Kitchen Assistant Needed

We are a well established Japanese restaurant in the London community, and we are looking for a dedicated and reliable Kitchen Assistant to join our team. You will be working closely with our Head Chef to support the kitchen and ensure smooth daily operations. No prior skilled kitchen experience is required.

We value a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn above all else. The tasks are straightforward, and structured training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate the right attitude and commitment to learning.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation

- Assist with preparing and handling fresh ingredients.
- Help ensure ingredients are properly prepared and ready for service.

Dishwashing & Sanitation

- Operate the commercial dishwasher and organize kitchenware.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen.
- Follow proper food safety and hygiene standards.

Team Support

- Work closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team.
- Assist with keeping kitchen operations running smoothly, especially during busy service hours.




- Communicate respectfully and effectively with team members.

Qualifications & Requirements Experience

- Previous restaurant kitchen or food preparation experience is preferred, but not required. We are happy to train the right candidate from the ground up.
