Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Journeyman or 4th Year Electrician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing electrical installations, repairs, and maintenance across various industrial, commercial, and residential projects. Your expertise will ensure that electrical systems operate safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant codes and standards.

Responsibilities

- Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide electrical installations and repairs.
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain electrical systems including low voltage wiring, power distribution, lighting, and control systems.
- Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete electrical tasks on construction sites or renovation projects.
- Install programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation equipment.
- Conduct inspections of electrical systems to identify issues, perform repairs, and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Assist with renovation projects by upgrading existing electrical infrastructure or installing new systems as specified in project plans.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including diagrams, schematics, and inspection reports.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and team members to meet project deadlines while adhering to safety protocols.

Qualifications





- Current Journeyman or 4th Year Electrician license or certification.
- Proven experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams related to electrical systems.
- Solid residential, and commercial electrician background with hands-on experience in installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with low voltage wiring systems and control panels.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as wire strippers, pliers, screwdrivers, as well as power tools like drills and saws.
- Experience working on construction sites or renovation projects within commercial or industrial environments.
- Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics interpretation, and electrical code compliance is a plus.
- Mechanical understanding and critical thinking is a plus.
- Must be able to commute to shop address.
- Must be able to lift 50lb.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner.
- Able to work with and train others.
- Must know recent code rules.

Expected hours: 30.0 – 50.0 per week
