GM experience is a definite asset, but we are open to experienced technicians with strong diagnostic and repair skills.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose and perform vehicle maintenance and repairs according to GM guidelines and manufacturer specifications
- Inform Service Advisors of vehicle maintenance and repair requirements and assist in developing effective customer consultations
- Check and verify parts before installation
- Perform accurate and thorough vehicle inspections
- Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship
- Assist in general housekeeping and maintaining a clean, safe and organized workshop
- Follow all dealership and manufacturer safety procedures
Requirements
- Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing personal and technical development

- Exceptional customer service skills with a desire to exceed expectations
- Solid organizational and prioritization skills with the ability to multitask
- Valid driver's license

- In-depth knowledge of technical diagnosis, repair and automotive electrical systems
- Ability to effectively respond to and meet the needs of a diverse client base
- GM product knowledge is an asset
- Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Automotive Technician, including apprenticeship experience
- Journeyman Automotive Technician certification
