Overview

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Journeyman/woman Plumber to join our team. This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems across various commercial and residential projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency with hand and power tools, and the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics.

This position offers an opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, technical expertise, and adherence to safety standards.

Duties

- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in accordance with blueprints and schematics
- Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to ensure accurate installation and repairs
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other construction tools safely and effectively
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment as needed for installation or repair tasks
- Conduct routine maintenance on plumbing systems to prevent future issues
- Collaborate with construction teams to ensure seamless integration of plumbing components within building frameworks
- Troubleshoot plumbing issues using basic math skills and technical schematics to diagnose problems accurately
- Ensure all work complies with local codes,

Requirements

- Valid Journeyman/woman plumber certification or license
- Proven experience in plumbing installation, repair, and maintenance within construction or maintenance environments
- Strong mechanical knowledge including HVAC systems, carpentry skills, and general maintenance experience
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and schematics reading
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently
- Knowledge of blueprint reading and basic math for measurements and calculations
- Familiarity with schematics for troubleshooting complex plumbing systems
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a quick-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Physical capability to perform manual tasks including climbing ladders or scaffolding as required
- Clean driver's license
