Technovision Engineering Inc. is a multi-discipline engineering firm located in Scarborough, specialized in engineering design for residential and commercial projects. We also provide engineering and project management services to multiunit residential sector. We are looking a self-driven, detail oriented and energetic candidate to join our growing team.

:

- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, architectural drawings, schedules and hand sketches/drawings to understand design intent.
- Read and understand equipment manufacturer’s literature
- Develop AutoCAD drawings as per sketches and diagrams.
- Perform HVAC systems load calculations for residential and commercial projects as directed.
- Travel to project sites (if necessary) to sketch and measure existing setups in order to create as-built drawings.
- Engage in facilities condition assessment tasks as directed
- Prepare site visit reports
- Ability to manage multiple project works simultaneously.
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Education in Building Science or Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Minimum 2 years of experience working with AutoCAD (training certificate will be considered an asset)




- Drafting experience in commercial and / or multi-story residential projects will be considered an asset
- Proficient in MS-Office environment (word, excel, power point)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- High level of detail.
- Time management skills
- Interpersonal skills to work within a team, taking direction from the project lead.
- Knowledge of local HVAC codes and plumbing is an asset
- Proficiency in Hourly Analysis Program (HAP) and Right-Suite Universal is an asset
- Must have own vehicle and a clean driving record

Pay: $20 per hour, mileage extra Employment Type: Full time, Contract

Duration: 6 months (with possibilities of extension)
