We are seeking a Junior Accountant to join our finance team. This role will provide key support in daily financial operations, ensuring accurate and timely reporting. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and eager to develop their skills in accounting and finance.

Primary Responsibilities:

- Assist in maintaining the general ledger and journal entries.
- Process accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accuracy in transactions.
- Assisting with reviewing payroll records and expenses.
- Reconcile bank statements and other accounts on a monthly basis.
- Prepare financial reports and assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Help monitor expenses and assist with budget tracking.
- Provide support in internal and external audits.
- Assist in the preparation of various financial statements.
- Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and projects as required.

Knowledge,



Skills, and Abilities Required:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA designation, an asset.
- 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance (internships or co-op experience acceptable).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Excellent attention to detail and solid analytical skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage time efficiently.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and passionate for continuous improvement
- Interested in agriculture and working in a rural area on-site
