We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Quality Coordinator to join our team and support our Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety (QEHS) activities.

Position Overview The Junior Quality Coordinator supports the day-to-day implementation and administration of NV Piping Systems' Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety programs.

This is a hands-on role combining shop-floor and administrative responsibilities. Working closely with the QEHS and Production teams, the successful candidate will assist with inspections, non-conformance and incident investigations, equipment calibration and maintenance, document control, training records, and other QEHS activities.

The position will also support the maintenance and continuous improvement of the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and ISO 9001 requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Support day-to-day Quality, Environmental, Health & Safety activities throughout the facility.
- Perform routine workplace safety inspections and assist with identifying hazards and following up on corrective actions.
- Assist the Quality Control Inspector with inspections, process audits, documentation, and other quality-related activities.
- Support NCR, incident, and near-miss investigations, including documentation review, root-cause analysis, 5 Whys, and development of corrective and preventive actions for review.
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the company's ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
- Coordinate routine equipment maintenance and calibration activities and associated records.
- Assist with QEHS document control, including work instructions, procedures, forms, checklists, training records,



and other controlled documents.
- Maintain chemical inventories, Safety Data Sheets (SDS), WHMIS documentation, and related records.
- Assist with employee training activities and training records.
- Support environmental programs, activities, and recordkeeping.
- Maintain QEHS spreadsheets, electronic forms, tracking systems, and records.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and the implementation of new QEHS processes and controls.
- Perform other duties as assigned in support of the QEHS team and company operations.

Qualifications

- Diploma, certificate, or post-secondary education in Quality, Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Management, Engineering Technology, Manufacturing, or a related field is considered an asset.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, quality, or health and safety is considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of quality, health and safety, and environmental practices.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 or Quality Management Systems is considered an asset.
- Basic knowledge of Ontario occupational health and safety requirements and WHMIS is considered an asset.
- Basic understanding of root-cause analysis and problem-solving methods, such as 5 Whys, is considered an asset.
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and recordkeeping skills.
- Ability to follow established procedures and manage multiple assigned tasks and follow-up activities.
- Comfortable working in both an office environment and on a manufacturing shop floor.




- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Experience with Microsoft Forms, SharePoint, or similar digital systems is considered an asset.
- Willingness to learn manufacturing processes, quality requirements, and QEHS procedures.
