Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation and cooking processes
- Supervise and motivate kitchen staff to ensure efficient teamwork and high-quality food service
- Oversee food handling procedures to maintain strict food safety and hygiene standards
- Support food presentation and ensure dishes meet quality specifications before serving
- Coordinate with front-of-house staff to deliver seamless service and guest satisfaction
- Manage inventory levels, assist with ordering supplies, and minimize waste
- Contribute to menu development by suggesting innovative ideas and seasonal specials
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and food service within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Supervising experience or team management skills in a culinary environment
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and proper handling techniques
- Excellent leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
- Familiarity with restaurant management practices and kitchen operations
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Valid Drivers licence and vehical to assist with food Delivery and alchole pick up
