Job Overview

We are seeking a Kitchen Cook to join our Wimpy's Diner team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals and uphold our commitment to food safety. We are looking for someone who works well with others and organized. Experience in the kitchen is an asset.

Responsibilities

- Prepare ingredients and cook a variety of menu items with consistency, quality, and efficiency
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food handling and storage procedures
- Assist in meal preparation during busy service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Support the team in managing inventory levels, restocking supplies, and minimizing waste

Requirements

- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper handling techniques




- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Prior kitchen experience is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm for learning is essential

We prefer to have resumes dropped off at our restaurant at 1075 Wilson St W, Ancaster. Pay: $17.60-$30.17 per hour
