We are seeking an Intermediate Electrical Engineer to join our growing Electrical Engineering team. This role is ideal for an engineer who has developed a strong foundation in electrical building systems design and is ready to take greater ownership of projects while continuing to develop their technical, project management, and client-facing capabilities.

The successful candidate will have experience designing electrical building systems in accordance with Ontario codes, standards, and regulatory requirements, with knowledge of power distribution, emergency power systems, lighting, fire alarm systems, communications infrastructure, life safety systems, and related building systems.

Reporting to Senior Leadership and working closely with senior engineering professionals, you will contribute to projects from concept through construction, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, interact with clients and project stakeholders, and support the continued growth of Mantecon's Electrical Engineering practice.

- Work on diverse and technically challenging projects across Ontario.

As an Intermediate Electrical Engineer, you will be involved in the design and delivery of electrical building systems for a variety of projects. You will work independently on defined project components while collaborating with senior engineers on larger and more complex assignments.

You will participate throughout the project lifecycle, including design development, preparation of drawings and specifications, multidisciplinary coordination, client meetings, construction administration, and site reviews.

The role provides an opportunity to expand your technical capabilities while developing greater responsibility for project coordination, client communication, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

What You'll Do

Electrical Engineering & Design

- Design electrical building systems for industrial, institutional, commercial, residential, healthcare, manufacturing, and other projects.
- Develop electrical designs including power distribution, emergency power systems, lighting, fire alarm systems, communications infrastructure, security systems, public address systems, and related building systems.
- Perform engineering calculations, equipment selection, load calculations, and other technical analyses.
