About the Job
You're the Site Supervisor's right hand. You work on the tools all day like the rest of the crew, but you also handle the site paperwork and step in as backup supervisor when the Supervisor is away or busy.
What You'll Do
- Work on the tools full-time
- Direct apprentices and labourers
- Do site layout
- Fill out daily safety forms, logs and progress photos in Procore
- Run safety meetings when needed
- Take over as supervisor when the Supervisor is off site or busy
- Check deliveries and flag missing or short materials
- Report problems and mistakes to the Supervisor or PM right away
- Keep the site clean, safe and running smoothly
What You Need
- 2+ years of experience in commercial construction, TI or building maintenance
- A "competent" worker under OHS standards
- Basic blueprint reading (more is a bonus)
- Comfortable using a phone or tablet every day. Procore is required
- Your own hand tools and toolbox
- Reliable, hardworking, and willing to step up and lead
