REDISON ELECTRIC
Vancouver
Redison Electric is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Red Seal electrician who’s ready to take more ownership of projects — without moving away from the tools.
This isn’t a foreman or office-based position. We’re looking for a strong electrician who can be trusted to take the lead on their work: understand the scope, plan ahead, coordinate with the people around them, guide apprentices or other electricians when needed, and make sure the job gets done properly.
We’re building Redison into a company people are proud to work for — organized, professional, forward-thinking, and known for doing excellent work without all the chaos that often comes with the trades.
Our work is primarily residential and light commercial throughout Vancouver and the Lower Mainland, with a mix of renovations, service, troubleshooting, upgrades and new installations.
We’re also in the process of building out a new office/warehouse that will become a proper home base for the company. As we grow, we’re investing in better systems, equipment, technology and people. We want the business to become more organized and more professional as it gets bigger — not the opposite.
This is a long-term position for an experienced electrician who wants to play a meaningful role in that growth.
Who we’re looking for
You’re the person people can rely on when a project needs someone to take the lead.
You don’t need every next step explained to you. You can review drawings and scope, walk a job, understand what needs to happen and identify potential problems before they become bigger ones.
You plan ahead for materials, labour and sequencing rather than discovering what you’re missing when you need it. You communicate changes and issues early. You’re comfortable coordinating with general contractors, homeowners and other trades, and you can give clear direction to apprentices or other electricians working alongside you.
At the same time, you’re still very much an electrician. “Lead” doesn’t mean being above pulling wire, troubleshooting, cleaning up, organizing materials or doing whatever else is needed to finish a project properly.
You care about quality, but you also understand productivity.
You take ownership of your work, make good decisions and know when something needs to be escalated or discussed.
We’re a small team, so attitude matters. We’re looking for someone confident enough to lead, but still coachable, collaborative and willing to continuously improve.
