Duties
- Assist licensed pharmacists in preparing, dispensing, and labeling prescriptions with accuracy and efficiency
- Manage medication inventory, including stock replenishment and proper storage procedures
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering medication-related questions and offering guidance under pharmacist supervision
- Verify prescriptions for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with medical terminology standards
- Support medication administration processes within hospital settings, ensuring proper documentation and safety protocols are followed
- Maintain detailed records of prescription transactions, inventory logs,
and patient interactions in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely medication delivery and optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure as a Pharmacy Technician in good standing
- Proven pharmacy technician experience, preferably within Community Pharmacy
- Robust knowledge of medical terminology
- Experience working in a Community pharmacy is highly desirable
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask effectively
- Compassionate approach to patient care with strong communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team to ensure safety and accuracy
