CPRI Medical & Rehab is an inter-disciplinary specialized clinic focused on the non-surgical management of painful spine and musculoskeletal conditions. We have two locations in beautiful British Columbia – in Vancouver and Current Westminster. We are a dedicated team of physicians and allied health professionals, looking to create integrated quality care for a mix of client populations.
We see the full spectrum of sports medicine, peripheral musculoskeletal, spine, peripheral neurologic, and nociplastic pain conditions. We also see pre/post-operative patients in close collaboration with our orthopedic surgery colleagues
We are looking for a LPN with an interest in pain management to join our multi-disciplinary team.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Patient triage- work with MOA and admin team to triage appropriate patients for specific clinical streams.
- During Clinics - before and in between patient visits- answer phone calls and direct as appropriate, Reply to patient emails. During patient visits- take initial patient history, perform focused physical exam, provide evaluation summary, with investigation results, assist physician with discussing treatment plan, and order new investigations, provide patient counsel on medication use or lifestyle management, book follow-up appointment based on MD direction.
- On Procedure days:
Prepare patients for procedures involving fluoroscopy and ultrasound, ensuring proper positioning and sterile technique. Perform phlebotomy, including blood draws for platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy. Assist physicians during a variety of interventional pain procedures, maintaining aseptic technique and ensuring patient comfort
- Monitor patients' post-procedure for recovery, complications, and pain levels, documenting findings appropriately.
- Conduct follow-up phone calls to assess response to treatments, answer questions, and provide ongoing support.
- Collaborate with physicians during patient consultations and follow-up appointments to support continuity of care.
- Maintain accurate EMR and procedure documentation.
- Educate patients on procedure preparation, post-procedure care, and pain management plans.
- Manage inventory and ensure availability of clinical supplies and equipment.
- Adhere to clinic protocols and safety standards, including infection control practices.
- Provide empathetic and professional care to patients dealing with chronic pain.
- Participate in staff meetings, training, and quality improvement initiatives.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $30.00-$35.00 per hour
