Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Loader Operator to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating heavy machinery to load, unload, and move materials efficiently across various construction sites. Your expertise in operating equipment such as loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, and backhoes will be essential in ensuring project timelines are met with precision and safety.

Responsibilities

- Operate loaders, excavators, dozers, graders, backhoes, and other heavy machinery with precision and safety awareness.
- Load and unload materials such as gravel, dirt, asphalt, and construction debris to support ongoing project activities.
- Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and identify maintenance needs promptly.
- Assist with site preparation activities including grading, paving, and horizontal drilling tasks as required.
- Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment to prevent accidents or injuries on site.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate equipment usage efficiently and meet project deadlines.




- Maintain detailed logs of equipment operation hours, maintenance records, and safety inspections.

Qualifications

- Proven experience operating heavy equipment including loaders, excavators, dozers (such as Caterpillar), graders, backhoes, and horizontal drilling machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge related to heavy machinery maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) preferred for transporting equipment or materials between sites.
- Knowledge of construction processes including paving and site grading techniques.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
- Prior construction experience is highly desirable; familiarity with heavy equipment brands like Caterpillar is a plus.
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and operate machinery for extended periods.
