Cycle Works Red Deer is looking for a reliable, hardworking Yard / Lot Attendant to join our busy powersports dealership team. You will play a key role in keeping our lot organized, units looking sharp, and inventory moving safely between the yard, showroom, and service departments. [1, 2, 3]Key Responsibilities

- Inventory Management: Safely move, park, and organize motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, and marine units around the yard and showroom (handling equipment up to 800 lbs with proper training/gear).
- Yard Maintenance: Keep the outdoor lot and compound clean, tidy, and free of debris, snow, and safety hazards.
- Unit Prep & Display: Wash, detail, and stage inventory so units look their best for customers. Assist with loading and unloading customer or dealer freight. [1]
- Cross-Department Support: Assist the parts, sales, and service teams with moving equipment and running general errands around the dealership site as needed.

What We Are Looking For

- Physical Fitness: Ability to lift 50+ lbs and spend the day on your feet outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Valid License: A clean, valid Class 5 driver’s license (and an acceptable driver’s abstract).

- Unloading Trucks & Freight: Act as the primary team member responsible for safely receiving freight trucks. Guide delivery drivers and efficiently unload arriving transport trucks.
- Crate Breakdown & Assembly Prep: Carefully unbox, uncrate,



and unstrap newly arrived motorcycles, ATVs, side-by-sides, and sleds. Safely dispose of shipping materials and pallets.
- Inventory Handling: Safely move, park, and organize powersports units around the yard and showroom (handling equipment up to 800 lbs with proper training/gear).
- Yard Maintenance: Keep the outdoor compound clean, organized, and free of debris, snow, and safety hazards to ensure trucks have clear paths for deliveries.
- Cross-Department Support: Assist the parts, sales, and service teams with moving heavy equipment and running general errands around the dealership site as needed.

What We Are Looking For
- Unloading Experience: Prior experience in shipping/receiving, warehouse work, or safely unloading freight trucks/flatbeds is highly valued.
- Physical Strength: Ability to lift 50+ lbs, handle heavy strapping, and spend the day working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Equipment Skills: Experience using standard material handling tools (straps, ramps, dollies). Forklift experience or certification is a major asset.
- Valid License: A clean, valid Class 5 driver’s license (and an acceptable driver’s abstract).
- Safety First Mindset: Complete awareness of your surroundings when working around moving transport trucks, heavy machinery, and crated goods.
