Responsibilities

- Supervise members during lunchtime, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Assist with the organization and management of lunch routines, including helping members with eating if needed
- Promote positive social interactions among members, encouraging good manners and respectful behavior
- Support members with special needs or disabilities, providing tailored assistance as required
- Maintain a clean and orderly lunch area, ensuring hygiene standards are upheld




- Communicate effectively with program supervisor and support staff regarding any concerns or incidents
- Support program staff with additional caregiving duties related to lunchtime activities

Skills

- Previous experience or familiarity with developmental services is highly desirable
- Knowledge of working with individuals with disabilities or special needs is a robust plus
- Strong communication skills to interact positively with members and staff
- Ability to remain calm, patient, and attentive in a lively environment
- Demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures and uphold hygiene standards
- Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting members development
