Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Staff Member to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to ensure the smooth operation and upkeep of our hotel facilities. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the overall safety and functionality of the property.

We are looking for a reliable, service-oriented individual who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, attractive, and well-functioning property for our guests and staff.

The ideal candidate will be friendly, professional, and committed to providing excellent customer service while ensuring the hotel and grounds are maintained to the highest standards.

Job Responsibilities

Duties include, but are not limited to:

- Performing scheduled preventative maintenance on hotel equipment, buildings, and grounds.
- Troubleshooting and repairing equipment, building systems, and infrastructure issues as they arise.
- Responding promptly and safely to emergency and priority maintenance requests from guests, front desk staff, housekeeping, and management.
- Maintaining accurate records required by brand standards, internal programs, and local authorities.
- Communicating effectively and professionally with hotel departments and associated businesses.
- Testing,



monitoring, recording, and maintaining pool, waterslide, hot tub, and surrounding areas to ensure water quality and safety standards are met.
- Operating the hotel shuttle to transport guests to and from local airport and ferry terminals and assisting with the pickup of supplies and materials as required.
- Contributing to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.

Preferred Qualifications Preference will be given to candidates with:
- Experience in building maintenance, trades, or infrastructure maintenance.
- A valid Driver's License with a clean driver's abstract.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- A mature, responsible, dependable work ethic.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
