We are currently seeking a Manager, Internal Controls and Financial Processes to ensure the reliability of our financial processes, strengthen our internal control framework, and oversee all transactional finance activities across the organization. This role combines team leadership, continuous improvement, risk management, and financial process transformation to support the company's growth and performance.
What You Will Do
Financial Operations Leadership and Management
- Oversee transactional finance activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries, billing, and payments.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial data in accordance with accounting standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in monthly and annual close activities and contribute to improving the efficiency of the financial close process.
- Develop, motivate, and coach a high-performing team by fostering accountability, skills development, and collaboration.
Internal Controls and Risk Management
- Design, implement, and maintain a robust internal control framework to safeguard company assets and ensure the reliability of financial reporting.
- Identify financial and operational risks associated with transactional processes and implement appropriate controls to mitigate them.
- Monitor key controls, document deficiencies,
and coordinate the implementation of corrective actions.
- Collaborate with external auditors and support compliance-related initiatives.
Process Optimization and Standardization
- Map, document, and standardize key financial processes, including Procure-to-Pay (P2P), Order-to-Cash (O2C), and financial close processes.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement, automation, and simplification of financial processes, particularly within the SAP environment.
- Develop performance indicators and monitoring mechanisms to measure the effectiveness of controls and processes.
- Partner with Operations, Procurement, Sales, Information Technology, and other business functions to align practices and improve workflows.
Analysis and Performance Support
- Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
- Produce analyses and key metrics to support decision-making and organizational performance.
- Contribute to fostering a culture of discipline, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the Finance function.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, financial control, auditing, internal controls, or financial process management, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
- CPA designation is considered a strong asset.
- Proven experience implementing internal controls, managing risk, and standardizing financial processes.
- Prior team management or supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and data analysis tools.
- Bilingual in French and English.
