Lead the Lands, Rights, and Stewardship Department at Yekooche First Nation, focusing on Indigenous resource management and consultation. Be a key player in advancing YFN’s strategic land objectives. We are seeking a Manager to provide operational leadership supporting YFN's vision.
This role requires at least five years of experience in lands management or consultation, emphasizing environmental stewardship and community collaboration. You will coordinate departmental projects and initiatives while engaging with community members and external stakeholders to protect YFN's cultural values and rights. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee lands administration and resource programs
- Manage consultation and referral processes effectively
- Support the integration of traditional Indigenous knowledge
- Coordinate environmental stewardship initiatives
- Monitor project progress and fiscal compliance Requirements:
- Degree in Indigenous Studies or related field
- Minimum five years in lands management or consultation
- Experience with First Nations governments or organizations
