We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. The ideal candidate will provide skilled massage services to clients, promoting relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being. Duties
- Perform professional massage therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, including Swedish, deep tissue, sports, or other modalities.
- Assess client conditions and discuss treatment goals to develop personalized therapy plans.
- Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace in accordance with health and safety standards.
- Educate clients on post-treatment care and wellness practices.
- Keep detailed records of treatments provided and client progress.
- Ensure excellent customer service by creating a relaxing environment and addressing client questions or concerns professionally.
- Stay current with industry best practices, techniques,
and certifications through ongoing education.
Qualifications
- Valid massage therapy license or certification.
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to health and wellness is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Excellent communication skills to explain treatment procedures and address client needs clearly.
- Ability to maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and a calming demeanor at all times.
- Prior experience in a spa or wellness setting is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided for specific protocols as needed.
