FreshPro Foodmart is a growing supermarket group in the Greater Toronto Area. We offer fresh produce, seafood, meat, and specialty foods from across Asia. Customers come to us for high-quality groceries and authentic Asian ingredients.

We are hiring a Meat Assistant / Meat Cutter for each of the following stores:

- FreshPro Foodmart Brampton Ltd. – 9125 Airport Rd, Brampton, ON L6S 0B8
- FreshPro Foodmart Mississauga Ltd. – 7333 Goreway Dr, Mississauga, ON L4T 2T8

Job Duties

- Cut, trim, and prepare beef, pork, poultry, and lamb to customer requests and store standards
- Debone, trim, and grind meat with consistent quality
- Weigh, package, and label products for retail display, with accurate portions and pricing
- Stock and rotate product, and keep the display case fresh and well presented
- Keep the work area, tools, and equipment clean and sanitized, following food safety and health and safety procedures
- Help customers choose cuts, answer questions, and make recommendations

What We're Looking For

- Experience as a butcher or meat cutter is an asset but not required. We provide training.
- Available to start immediately
- Available for full time shifts, including weekdays, weekends, evenings, and statutory holidays




- Able to stand for long periods, lift and carry product, and work in refrigerated areas
- Able to communicate in English. Mandarin or Cantonese is an asset.
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
