Duties

- Cut, trim, and prepare various types of meat according to company standards and customer requests
- Package meat products securely to maintain freshness and prevent contamination
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all work areas, tools, and equipment in compliance with food safety regulations
- Assist customers with product selection, answer questions about cuts and preparation methods, and provide excellent customer service
- Restock display cases regularly to ensure an appealing presentation of meat products
- Follow proper food handling procedures during all stages of food preparation to ensure safety and quality




- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with product rotation

Skills

- Experience in the food industry, particularly in food preparation or butchery, is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of meat cutting techniques and food safety standards
- Ability to handle food products safely and hygienically at all times
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude
- Familiarity with packaging methods suitable for retail meat products
- Kitchen experience or previous work in a food handling setting is a plus
- Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
