EWC Montgomery Wellness & Aesthetics | Calgary, AB

Part-Time / Independent Contract | Flexible schedule

Help shape a thoughtful approach to wellness and aesthetics.

EWC Montgomery Wellness & Aesthetics (undergoing new management and direction) is an established neighbourhood wellness practice entering an exciting new chapter. We’re bringing together therapeutic wellness, skin health and advanced aesthetics—and looking for a Physician (MD) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) who would enjoy helping us build and oversee the medical side of that vision.

Our values are simple: Evidence-led. Whole-person. Collectively delivered.

This opportunity may suit an MD or NP seeking a flexible part time role alongside an existing practice, with an interest in aesthetic medicine, healthy aging and collaborative care.

The Opportunity

We’re seeking clinical leadership as we develop services that may include nurse-delivered cosmetic injectables and medically appropriate IV therapy. You would help establish the clinical framework, determine appropriate services and support safe, coordinated patient care.

The role may include

- Helping establish patient assessment, prescribing, treatment and follow-up processes for Botox, dermal fillers and other agreed medical services.
- Establishing appropriate processes for required patient assessment, prescribing and treatment authorization within your professional scope and regulatory requirements.
- Providing clinical oversight and support to RNs delivering medical aesthetic services.
- Assist in developing protocols for screening, informed consent, documentation, infection prevention and adverse-event management.
- Help, establishing transparent arrangements for clinical availability, escalation and complication management.
- Periodic chart and quality review.
- Supporting ongoing clinical education and helping evaluate future medical services.

The position is primarily focused on clinical oversight rather than carrying a full patient caseload. For someone interested in a more active role, there may also be an opportunity to participate directly in EWC’s medical aesthetics program, including providing cosmetic injectables and potentially IV therapy within your authorized scope and online pacient appoinments . We are open to discussing a separate clinical or partnership arrangement for these services with the right person.

There may also be opportunities to develop consultation services around areas such as skin health, menopause, hormonal concerns or healthy aging, where aligned with your expertise and professional scope.

What EWC Offers

- An established wellness client community with opportunities for appropriate internal referrals.
- Consultation and treatment space.
- Reception, booking and administrative support.
- Marketing support through our website, client communications and local promotion.
- Collaboration with aesthetics and wellness practitioners.
- Meaningful input into service selection, clinical standards and future development.

- A flexible arrangement designed to complement an existing practice.
- The potential to become more involved in the medical aesthetics business as it grows.

What We’re Looking For

Applicants must be either

- A Physician (MD) currently registered and in positive standing with the College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta; or
- A Nurse Practitioner (NP)

currently registered and in good standing with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta.

Candidates should have appropriate professional liability coverage and relevant clinical experience and/or training applicable to the services they will oversee.

Experience or training in medical aesthetics, cosmetic injectables, dermatology, skin health or related areas is preferred.

Experience developing or overseeing IV therapy services would be an asset.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who values patient safety, evidence-based care, collaboration and realistic treatment outcomes.

Compensation & Arrangement

Ongoing clinical oversight retainer: approximately $750–$1,500 per month, depending on the agreed scope, responsibilities and availability.

Initial policy and protocol development and work beyond the agreed oversight scope will be compensated separately.

Any direct patient consultations or treatments personally provided by the Medical Director / Clinical Lead would also be compensated separately.

For a candidate interested in helping develop the injectable or IV side of the business, a separate clinical or partnership arrangement can be discussed.

Interested in a Conversation?

Please send your CV and a brief introduction outlining your current practice, Alberta registration, relevant experience or interest in medical aesthetics, availability and the type of involvement you would be interested in.

We are particularly interested in meeting an MD or NP who sees the opportunity to help build something, not simply fill a position.

We’d love to hear what you would want to build with us.
