WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Responsibilities:

- Book/confirm appointments with patients and physician offices
- Answer the phone, take messages, and handle patient inquiries
- Prepare and send documents to Physicians, Pharmacies, and Patients
- Maintaining cleanliness of the reception area and examination rooms
- Flexible to assist in all areas within the clinic
- Follow-up on lab results and doctor requests
- Maintain a clean and tidy workspace
- Ensure office equipment and supplies are stocked, ordered and maintained
- Assist with invoicing and collecting payments
- Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

- Experience as a Medical Receptionist is strongly preferred
- Experience with EMRs, Accuro EMR is a MUST
- Experience with OHIP billing
- Experience in injection is strongly preferred
- Mature, reliable and trustworthy
- Outstanding communication skills, excellent command of the English language (written and oral), excellent phone manner




- Be self-motivated, detail-oriented, have a positive attitude and be completely dependable and punctual
- Customer Service oriented, warm, friendly personality, energetic, enthusiastic, polite, tactful
- Ability to maintain patient confidentiality
- Ability to work well in a team environment, excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and complete high quality work in accordance to clinic standards
- Multi-tasker with excellent organizational skills, attention to detail
- Excellent grooming and professional demeanor
- Ability to learn and retain large amounts of information regarding all of the procedures and products offered in the clinic
- Solid multi-tasking skills and quick learner of computer skills and scheduling systems within the framework of a busy practice with many physicians

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate
