Position Summary

Reporting to the Engineering Director or Engineering Manager, the Methods & Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations through process development, production documentation, engineering analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This position is ideal for an early-career engineer seeking hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing, process engineering, tube fabrication, welding, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Interpret engineering drawings, 3D models, specifications, and GD&T; requirements.
- Develop and maintain work instructions, process maps, routing sheets, and job travelers.
- Create bend data for tubular fabrication products.
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) and manufacturing readiness activities.
- Create manufacturing documentation and production support packages.
- Assist with time studies,



workflow analysis, and process improvements.
- Support root cause investigations and corrective actions.
- Participate in FMEA activities and risk assessments.
- Assist with tooling, fixture, and production aid design.
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Planning, and Engineering teams.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Assist in evaluating current manufacturing technologies and processes.
- Maintain engineering records and ERP/MRP manufacturing data.

Qualifications Required

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Engineering Technology.
- 1-2 years of manufacturing or engineering experience.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Knowledge of GD&T; fundamentals.
- Experience using CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, CATIA, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred

- Aerospace manufacturing experience.
- Knowledge of tube bending, fabrication, welding, or metal forming.
- Exposure to AS9100 quality systems.
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems.
- Lean Manufacturing knowledge.
