Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Aide / Caregiver to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in need of assistance. You will work closely with clients in various settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or private homes, delivering essential daily support with enthusiasm and professionalism.

Duties

- Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to promote comfort and independence
- Provide patient care by monitoring health status, recording vital signs, and reporting any concerns to healthcare professionals
- Support medication administration according to prescribed schedules and safety protocols
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe environment
- Assist with mobility and heavy lifting to ensure client safety during transfers or repositioning




- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients dealing with dementia, disabilities, or hospice care needs

Requirements

- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments preferred
- Knowledge of patient care practices and caregiving techniques
- Experience working with seniors, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring dementia or hospice care
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and assist with mobility needs
- Robust communication skills and compassionate attitude towards clients
- Ability to follow detailed instructions for medication administration and care routines
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed including evenings or weekends if required
