Enhance health outcomes for adults as an Occupational Therapist I based at the Healthy Living Centre in Camrose. Focus on individual and group programming to empower clients in daily activities.
The Occupational
Therapist I will be part of a multidisciplinary team including physical therapists, respiratory therapy, and more. This role emphasizes evidence-based practices aimed at improving occupational performance and independence. You’ll engage with clients in both individual and group settings, providing tailored support for self-care, productivity, and leisure activities. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide triage, screening, and assessment of clients
- Collaborate with families in goal setting and rehabilitation
- Participate in interprofessional team quality improvement initiatives
- Mentor and supervise Therapy Assistants and students
- Engage in community education and programming Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Registered with Alberta College of Occupational Therapists
- Solid organizational and communication skills
- Experience working with diverse client populations
- Ability to function independently in a busy environment Drive client independence and wellness through comprehensive OT services at the Healthy Living Centre in Camrose.
