Job Summary The Front Door Checker is responsible for managing the flow of produce and customer interactions in the stall at the Ontario Food Terminal (OFT). This role ensures accurate order verification, efficient processing, and timely shipment of bills while maintaining high standards of customer service, inventory control, and floor organization.

The Front Door

Checker acts as a key liaison between the OFT floor team, customers, and management to ensure smooth operations and a positive customer experience.

Shift Time: 4 am-12 pm (Mon-Fri and Sunday)

Rate: Hourly (Based on Experience)

Key Responsibilities:

· Verify incoming and outgoing produce orders to ensure accuracy against bills and shipment schedules.

· Oversee the timing and processing of bills to ensure on-time delivery and customer satisfaction.

· Monitor customer interactions at the front door, ensuring a professional and helpful experience.

· Assist in training and guiding team members on operational procedures and customer service expectations.

· Supervise and coordinate the setup of the OFT floor, including product layout and display organization.

· Track inventory levels, report discrepancies, and ensure accurate stock control.

· Handle credits, returns, and product adjustments efficiently, maintaining proper documentation.

· Collaborate with the order processing and loading teams to maintain seamless operations.

· Ensure products are packed, labeled, and staged correctly for transport or customer pickup.





· Proactively resolve customer issues, complaints, or inquiries to maintain high satisfaction standards.

· Enforce safety protocols for staff and customers on the floor.

Requirements: MUST HAVE

- Minimum 2 years of produce industry experience
- Valid Pallet Jack,Pump Truck and walkie licences with Minimum 3 years if experience
- Strong Cystomer Service and communication skills
- Proven leadership qualities and ability to coordinate team activities effectively
