PERSONAL SUPPORT WORKER (PSW)

At Wendat Community Programs, our small seniors’ residence is a close-knit place where familiar faces, kindness, and everyday moments matter. We’re looking for compassionate Personal Support Workers to join our team and help residents feel comfortable, respected, and at home.

If you love hearing someone’s stories, noticing the little things that brighten their day, and being part of a team that looks out for one another, you may feel right at home here.

What you’ll do

- Help residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility, and other daily routines
- Support meals and nutrition, including meal preparation and assistance with eating
- Offer companionship, conversation, and emotional support
- Help keep residents’ living spaces clean and comfortable
- Assist with safe transfers and mobility using appropriate techniques




- Provide medication reminders and assist with medication administration where trained and authorized
- Notice changes in residents’ well-being and share concerns with the care team
- Follow individual care plans while respecting each resident’s preferences and independence

What you’ll bring
- Experience supporting seniors or people with disabilities; experience with dementia or end-of-life care is an asset
- A warm, patient approach and respect for every resident
- Clear communication with residents, families, and coworkers
- The ability to follow care plans and safety procedures
- Reliability, flexibility, and a willingness to lend a hand when the day changes

Pay: $19.00-$21.11 per hour
