We are seeking a vibrant, knowledgeable, and creative Jewish Educator to lead our multi-generational educational programming. This role is the heartbeat of our community, responsible for weaving together a love for Torah, Hebrew, and Jewish identity for learners of all ages, from our littlest toddlers to our most seasoned lifelong learners. This position requires some presence on Shabbat mornings, Sundays and weekday evenings, and is a part time contract.

Exact days and hours will be negotiated according to the candidate’s availability.

Core Responsibilities

1. Hebrew After-School Program (Elementary)

- Teach after-school/Sunday classes for ages 6-12
- Focus on Hebrew language, Holidays and Midot
- Foster a warm, exciting environment that kids look forward to attending

2. Shabbat Morning Children’s Programming

- Lead age-appropriate Shabbat services
- Engage families and foster community

3. General Programming

- Create a low-barrier entry point for congregants of all ages looking to deepen their Jewish knowledge
- Work with the Programs Director to plan and execute relevant programming

Pay: $25.00-$40.00 per hour Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
