Job Summary

VoiceCaptures is a Toronto-based AI startup building natural-sounding AI voice receptionists for small and mid-sized businesses.

We are hiring 1–2 Part-Time Sales Development Representatives to help us reach local business owners, introduce VoiceCaptures, and book qualified product demos.

This is a good fit for a student, recent graduate, or early-career candidate who wants practical experience in B2B sales, startups, and AI. You do not need extensive previous sales experience. We care more about confidence, reliability, communication skills, and willingness to learn.

The role is primarily remote, with flexible schedule. GTA-based candidates are preferred.

Responsibilities

- Call local businesses from lead lists we provide
- Speak with business owners and decision-makers
- Give a short, conversational introduction to VoiceCaptures
- Ask basic qualifying questions and identify interested prospects
- Book product demonstrations with qualified prospects
- Track call outcomes, notes, and follow-ups
- Share common objections and customer feedback so we can improve the sales process

Requirements

- Comfortable speaking with strangers on the phone
- Clear and professional communication
- Reliable and consistent
- Able to handle rejection and keep going
- Comfortable working independently
- Interest in sales, startups, entrepreneurship, or AI

Previous sales, customer service, retail, fundraising, or call-centre experience is preferred but not required.

Compensation

- CA$20–$25 per hour
- Additional performance bonuses for qualified demos that attend and customers who become paying clients
- Approximately 6–10 hours per week initially

- Occasional in-person meetings may be available but are not required
