CHILLI CORIANDER Indian Restaurant is looking for a friendly, reliable, and customer-focused Part time Waiter to join our team in Stouffville, Ontario.
The ideal candidate should have at least 6 months of previous work experience in an Indian restaurant and be comfortable working in a rapid-paced restaurant environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and beverage orders accurately
- Provide excellent customer service throughout the dining experience
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally
- Answer guest questions about menu items and make recommendations when appropriate
- Maintain clean and organized dining and service areas
- Coordinate with kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure smooth service
- Process customer requests and address basic guest concerns professionally
- Follow restaurant food safety and service standards
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required
Requirements
- Minimum 6 months of work experience in an Indian restaurant
- Previous waiter/server experience preferred
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Knowledge of Indian cuisine is an asset
