Job Title: Pastry Chef

Streats Willoughby Kitchen is seeking a creative and experienced Pastry Chef to prepare high-quality pastries and desserts, maintain consistent standards, and support smooth kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and produce high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods
- Follow recipes, measurements, and preparation procedures accurately
- Develop and maintain consistent pastry quality and presentation
- Prepare ingredients and manage daily pastry production
- Monitor inventory of baking ingredients and kitchen supplies
- Assist with menu planning and seasonal pastry selections
- Maintain proper food storage, labeling, and organization
- Minimize food waste and use ingredients efficiently
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, cleanliness, and sanitation standards are followed
- Maintain clean and organized pastry workstations and equipment
- Coordinate with chefs and kitchen staff during service
- Support opening and closing kitchen procedures

Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or similar role




- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, pastries, and desserts
- Excellent attention to detail and presentation
- Ability to follow recipes and maintain consistent quality
- Good organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, professional, and creative

Schedule Full-time restaurant schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Pay: $17.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 per week
