Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure comfort and hygiene.
- Support mobility needs through protected transfer techniques and help with walking or repositioning to prevent falls.
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary requirements and preferences.
- Administer medications accurately according to prescribed schedules and document all medication activities diligently.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning personal spaces, laundry, and maintaining a tidy environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation.
- Monitor clients’ health status, report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals promptly, and assist with basic patient care as needed.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in assisted living, nursing homes, hospice care, or home care environments is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to care for seniors or individuals with disabilities, including those with dementia or requiring hospice support.
- Strong caregiving skills combined with patience, compassion, and excellent communication abilities.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, assisting with transfers, and performing routine cleaning tasks.
- Knowledge of medication administration protocols and safety procedures.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adhere to health regulations consistently.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in caregiving or nursing are a plus.

Pay: $21.00-$27.84 per hour
Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
